In 1986, Wayne Curry initiated a dog facility known as "Kraftwerk K9" to provide people with high breed dogs, especially German Shepherds. He has employed a team of highly proficient experts who are available round the clock for the dogs and puppies. It also has a 24/7 on-site veterinarian who thoroughly examines the health of the dogs which includes teeth and gum inspection, from the back to the front exam and listening to the heart. The firm aims at providing the dogs with clean, comfortable and free from stress indoor sleeping quarters. It includes regulation size trial field and large 6'x16' private, covered and open air runs for them.

Wayne Curry has been passionate about training and breeding dogs since a very young age. He is one of the highly skilled dog handlers and trainers across Rochester, WA and became a full time dog trainer in 1987. He makes the dogs learn to be obedient and protective of their owners and has organized various obedience classes as well as individual lessons for all kinds of breeds and their owners. He has been awarded several times for his dedication and sheer hard work. He was honored with the highest Schutzhund dog/handler team in the US and has managed to maintain consistent high levels of performance year after year.

At Kraftwerk K9, the dogs are sold to families, police K-9 departments, Schutzhund handlers and other working sport homes as well as high profile individuals with security concerns. Recently, The Hillsboro Oregon Police bought a female from Kraftwerk in order to start their breeding program.
